| The Coalition has received funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Special Opportunity grant as well as matching money from the Coalition’s executive organizations. In coordination with the state health department and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the Coalition traditionally has received capacity-building grants to educate the public on the effects of tobacco. This collaborative effort has enabled the coalition to expand its grassroots network through quarterly regional meetings aimed at recruiting adult coalition members and one annual meeting aimed at recruiting teenage coalition members. |
